Greek Wine Dinner

May 9th. 6:30 - 8:00PM. $70 per person. 

Join us this May 9th at Old World for our Greek Wine Dinner. We are excited to host Jesse Hufstader of Toxo Imports, who has curated a selection of wine directly imported from Greece. 

Starting at 6:30, there will be a total of five courses and wine pairings. This is a family style dinner meaning the food comes out on large, shareable platters and are served at one big table. Christos will be in the kitchen cooking, as he always is. Wines served will be available for purchase at the end of the evening at a discount. This is a meal to share and enjoy with good company. 

The Menu

First Course - Meze Platter - Melitzanosalata (eggplant dip), Tirokafteri (spicy whipped feta), Tzatziki (yogurt dip), Dolmas (lamb stuffed grape leaves), Spanakopita (spinach pie), Olives and accouterments. Paired with the Charalaboglou PET NAT NV Rose.

Second Course - Salad - Horiatiki. Paired with the Sellas Eternal Assyrtiko 2022.

Third Course - Soup - Youvarlakia Avgolemeno (lemon greek meatball soup). Paired with Panagopoulos Asterope Moschofilero Rose 2024.

Fourth Course - Entree - Lamb Souvlaki served on a bed of orzo, spinach and feta. Paired with Diamantakos Naoussa 2020.

Fifth Course - Dessert - Portokalopita (orange cake). Paired with Toplou Filotheos Dessert Wine 2022.
